Kamakura est une station balnéaire où les surfeurs sont bien plus nombreux que les baigneurs. L'eau est chaude, le sable est noir, et les Japonais exhibent fièrement leurs biscotos sur la plage. On peut croiser des femmes en talon ou en tenue manga sur ce même sable… Tokyo n'est jamais très loin !
Puis viennent les ruelles. Celles qui mènent au Daibutsu, le grand Bouddha de Kamakura, assis là depuis 1282. Le soleil venait éclairer son visage comme un ange. Calme, immense, indifférent au temps qui passe. Le fun qui rejoint la sérénité.Kamakura is a beach resort where surfers outnumber swimmers. Then come the alleyways. The ones that lead to the Daibutsu, the great Buddha of Kamakura, sitting there since 1282. The sun came to light up his face like an angel. Calm, immense, indifferent to the passing of time. Where the fun meets serenity.
