Juin, la lumière longue et dorée. Parcourir ce bras de terre bloqué entre les mers, voir la nature renaître dans cette terre de légendes et de korrigans qu'on voulait découvrir depuis longtemps. De l'Armor à l'Argoat, du Mont Saint-Michel à Quiberon, de la côte de granit rose à la Pointe du Raz : un bout du monde après l'autre. Carnac et ses menhirs qui n'appartiennent à aucune époque. Locronan figée dans le temps. Huelgoat et ses rochers jetés là par quelque géant oublié.
La Bretagne est rude, brûlée de vent, chargée de brume. Elle ne ressemble à nulle part. On l'a traversée les yeux grands ouverts.June, the long golden light. Brittany is rugged, wind-scorched, heavy with mist. It resembles nowhere else. We crossed it with wide-open eyes.
La Vallée des Saints · Carnoët : Un site saisissant perché à 230 m d'altitude au cœur de la Bretagne intérieure. Depuis 2009, des sculpteurs du monde entier y élèvent des statues monumentales en granit représentant les saints bretons : 4 à 6 mètres de hauteur, 10 à 15 tonnes chacune. L'objectif final : mille statues. Aujourd'hui une centaine se dressent déjà dans ce paysage de landes et de brume, comme une armée de pierre venue d'un autre temps. Un lieu unique en Europe.
